Good job Aubree! Two questions: all the provisional ballots generated- if they go to central count, we have the problem with chain of custody as much as ever unless I missed something. Secondly, what would it take to return to the counting methods prior to 2019? I wasn’t here but I understand that we had precinct voting but I don’t know how counting worked. Thank you for all your hard work!
Yes we did vote by Precinct prior to 2019 but the machines used thru the 2000s were eSlates and they were electronically tabulated. The first time I voted here was in 2018 I believe and it was in precinct but using machines.
The provisional ballots won't have the same chain of custody issues because they'll be delivered from polling locations to central count and then sorted by Precinct so we can double check their validity and prior to checking voter eligibility. After those two things are done, the provisionals are removed from secrecy ballots and sorted by Precinct.
So we will have a new layer of accountability with the paper poll books + provisional ballot records. Nothing will be redacted because they'll all be sorted by Precinct so ballot secrecy issues are eliminated.
There's always a risk with Chain of Custody but this way we can actually audit if we find discrepancies, rather than sifting through what are basically blank receipts for an audit/ recount.
Thank you! This is what I brought to Chairman Davis and he blew me off after Bo begged him to follow thru with this for the primaries.
Yeah, I love Bo and Davis is no Bo. Thanks for your response. Lots of work to do. Trump is helping a lot and I think the post office deal is as significant as the SAVE act if it gets done.
I’m totally on board with precinct voting, and counting in the precinct. It’s a big lift, but the ship is turning I believe
Again, well-done, Aubree.

Oh and Clint helped me figure out how to lock those ballot boxes without the scanners on top so we don't need to buy more.
I like Clint, but I understand there is a lot of trust to be rebuilt from county elections. He's working on it.
Trump's E.O. is AMAZING!!! I was so happy reading it, he really made some major changes that should immediately help us all!! God Bless POTUS ❤️
